12 Tips to create a small dressing - In a dream world, most women I know (including myself) would like a dressing room the size of a master bedroom. A room dedicated to housing purely extravagant footwear collection, luxurious robes and, of course, independent dressing table, full length mirror and chandelier token. I remember just a few years watching the premier of Sex & The City and there were audible gasps, screams and "oh my goshes" in the scene where Carrie opens the "doors double "in its new self-apartment. Some women have even applauded. Many of us clearly like dressing fantasy.

But here's the thing. In reality, most of us do not have these extravagant dresses, let alone have enough space in our homes to dedicate an entire room for this kind of luxury. And I think we know secretly, too.

The good news is, though, that we can incorporate fun elements and frivolity in what we do have. In fact, there are a few little tricks and treatments that I have learned over the years, you can take, especially if your space is wrong on the small side. I recently turned a small veranda of my room in a dressing (or as I call now: my "dressing") and I incorporate some of these ideas to make my storage section below.
